In recent years the capabilities of ultrasound flow imaging have increased enormously. With such versatility, clinicians are now using this non-invasive technique for additional diagnostic applications.
However, despite continued advances in the technology, it remains vital that clinicians understand both the capabilities and limitations of Doppler ultrasound.
This Expert Forum reviews these principles and discusses current advances that are adding additional clinical value in both the pediatric population and vascular labs.
