In this Expert Forum, Dr. Lawrence Tanenbaum and Dr. William Baughman provide a comprehensive review of what the COVID-19 virus is, how it’s transmitted, as well as, how it presents clinically on various imaging modalities. Additionally, a review of “real-world” clinical findings of COVID positive patients, who present with additional symptoms that are manifested from coronavirus will be shared. Following the presentations, a moderated discussion will take place where questions from the audience will be addressed.

Dr. Tanenbaum is currently the Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, and Medical Director for the Eastern Region at RadNet, Inc., a leading provider of freestanding, fixed-site diagnostic imaging services in the United States. Prior to this role, Dr. Tanenbaum served as Associate Professor of Radiology and Director of MRI/CT & Outpatient / Advanced Imaging Development at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
Dr. Tanenbaum has authored approximately 100 scholarly and peer reviewed articles, continues to chair educational and academic meetings and has delivered over 1500 invited lectures around the world.

William (Chris) Baughman, MD graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Engineering in biomedical engineering. A Doctor of Medicine followed this from Vanderbilt University. He then completed an internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Case Western Reserve/MetroHealth Medical Center.
This was followed by a fellowship in abdominal imaging at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Baughman has been a member of the MetroHealth Medical Center staff since 2010 and currently holds the appointment of Associate Professor of Radiology at Case Western University School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Department of Radiology, Associate Director of Bioinformatics, and Director of Computed Tomography and cardiothoracic imaging at MetroHealth Medical Center.
